This is Lei-Leen. She contacted me about her interest in purchasing a painting while I was in Austin, Texas carrying out “The Flash of the Spirit Volvo Experience”. We arranged to meet in front of the Texas Law Center, in the shadow of The Texas State Capitol, during her lunch hour. Lei-Leen is a freelance proofreader currently working for the Texas Legislature. For obvious reasons, I feel that is why she related with “Owls Are Only There After You Fuck Up,” 2011. A few days later she contacted me to inform me that after reading my previous post regarding this work: “The story makes it better because I fucking hate birds too.” Indeed.
